Welcome to Southern Kentucky Vacations

Southern Kentucky is filled with lakes and rivers and outdoor adventure making it a natural playground for boating, whitewater rafting, canoeing, fishing and just plain fun in the sun.

Combine this with the breathtaking views on our scenic train ride and the historic experience of a restored mining town, and you’ll find something for everyone in the family.

Or, maybe you’d rather rent a luxury houseboat on one of our three lakes. Whatever you prefer, it’s all here.

Kentucky is known for having “the Nation’s Finest” State Park System and our region is home to the best of these outstanding facilities. Some of these parks offer a full-service resort setting while others offer great recreational opportunities. Each facility is unique in its own way, but all maintain the highest quality of standards to provide you with a positive, memorable experience.
